Blog Response #2

I’ve heard the word modd many times before it became important to me. Growing up modd wasn’t frequently said. I would only hear it on certain occasions. To me modd used to be just a way to either insult someone or convey how deeply I felt about something. However, when I began flexing going modd was what I was trying to achieve. In the world of flexing going modd is hyping the atmosphere or flow of one’s environment. For instance, an audience’s energy could be dull for many reasons, but if someone is going modd they evoke a powerful yet positive reaction. Whenever I start dancing and it’s time for me to go modd I morph into my ultimate transformation. My moves become powers and also a way I allow my body to speak to people. This is how modd became symbolic to me.
